Founding Customer Solutions & Insights Lead

Location: 100% Remote

Overview


You’ll be the connective tissue between our customers and product teams—owning complex implementations, surfacing data-backed insights, and translating both into the next version of what we build. Thriving here means loving ambiguity and speed far more than polished process. In practical terms, that looks like:


  • Hands-on & scrappy: You design the playbook while running the play—prototype, iterate, and ship before most companies finish their slide deck.
  • Bias for action: Fast, informed decisions > exhaustive alignment. You learn by shipping.
  • Many hats, fluid scope: Morning with a CCO, afternoon in BigQuery, evening polishing a PRD.
  • Energized by uncertainty: Ambiguous, shifting requirements feel like opportunity, not risk.
  • Resource-light creativity: When tooling, budget, or org charts are missing, you hack simple solutions and keep moving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Implementation & Executive Relationship Leadership (60%)

  • Drive end-to-end implementations, change-management plans, technical solutioning, and executive readouts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite sponsors; turn new logos into reference customers.
  • Translate evolving requirements into crisp project plans and push them to “done.”
  • Spot expansion opportunities and partner success risks early, sharing learnings internally in real time.

2. Data Analysis & Insight Generation (30%)

  • Mine BigQuery/SQL and Google Sheets for actionable insights.
  • Accelerate work with an AI-first toolkit (comfortable exploring tools with LLM-assisted coding, Google Colab, etc.).
  • Publish clear, well-structured analysis that illuminate both what happened and why.

3. Product Input & Requirement Definition (10%)

  • Convert customer context + data analysis into data requirements for engineering.
  • Champion low-friction, high-impact product tweaks uncovered during implementations.



Skills & Qualifications

  1. Customer Relationship & Implementation Leadership – seasoned with senior-exec stakeholders and complex rollouts.
  2. Project & Timeline Management – relentless ownership in lean, high-velocity environments.
  3. Startup DNA – thrives in ambiguity, minimal process, async work.
  4. Data Analysis Expertise – SQL (BigQuery), Sheets, AI/LLM-accelerated workflows; compelling data storytelling.
  5. Decision Velocity & Critical Thinking – comfortable making the call with 70 % of the data.
  6. Communication – distill complexity for execs, engineers, and non-technical partners alike.
  7. Technical Translation – turn messy customer feedback into build-ready requirements.


Preferred Experience

  • Former management/strategy consultant who led client delivery and executive presentations.
  • Early-stage startup or high-growth scale-up contributor (ideally Series A–C).
  • Demonstrated use of AI/LLM tools to speed analytics or prototyping.

  • Compensation: $120K-$150K base salary, with equity and variable compensation
  • Location: 100% Remote, with preference for Seattle, WA for quarterly collaborations
