Overview

You will be at the forefront of integrating customer data with our product. This role is for a technically skilled, data-driven individual who thrives on analyzing complex datasets, identifying patterns, and translating insights into actionable technical requirements for internal teams. While some interaction with customers is part of the role, the primary focus is on data analysis and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Troubleshooting (65%)

Dive deep into large datasets using BigQuery and Sheets to identify recurring issues, anomalies, and patterns.
Investigate individual Salesforce records to understand root causes and systemic data challenges.
Collaborate with data engineers and internal teams to ensure data is clean, accurate, and actionable.
Analyze customer data to build presentations highlighting customer value and ROI, helping leadership and internal teams understand impact.
Use AI and automation tools to accelerate analysis and uncover insights faster.
Provide structured, data-driven insights that improve onboarding processes, data quality, and platform readiness.

2. Technical Translation & Documentation (25%)

Convert analytical insights into clear, actionable technical documentation for engineering and product teams.
Collaborate with technical teams to define requirements, clarify data issues, and support implementation of solutions.
Ensure insights and recommendations are communicated in a precise, usable format that drives results.

3. Customer Data Onboarding Support (10%)

Serve as a technical partner to help customers understand and resolve data challenges during onboarding.
Share analysis, insights, and recommendations with customers to facilitate smooth integration.
Support end-to-end onboarding when needed, including meetings with customers to unblock data issues.

Skills & Qualifications

Advanced Data Analysis (Top Priority): Expert in SQL (BigQuery) and Sheets; able to analyze complex datasets, investigate individual records, and detect patterns across large datasets.
Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to identify patterns, investigate root causes, and generate recommendations that improve data quality and processes.
Salesforce Object Fluency: Deep understanding of Salesforce objects (contracts, subscriptions, line items) and experience navigating data relationships to troubleshoot and map customer data.
Technical Translation & Documentation: Proven ability to convert analytical insights into clear, actionable requirements and work closely with internal technical teams.
AI & Automation Savvy: Proficiency using AI tools and workflow automation to accelerate data analysis and insight generation.
Problem-Solving & Creativity: Thrive in fast-moving, resource-light startup environments and can create solutions from scratch.
Executive Communication: Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to leadership; customer-facing experience optional.

Preferred Experience

Collaborating with data engineering teams to integrate and troubleshoot large datasets.
Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate data analysis and prototyping.
Exposure to management or strategy consulting with a focus on translating data into actionable business decisions.
Data onboarding and integration in SaaS or high-growth startup environments.

Key Details

Compensation: $120K-$140K base salary + equity
Location: 100% Remote (preference for Seattle, WA for quarterly collaborations)
